At the opening ceremony of the 52nd Congress of Nordic Orthopaedic Federation (NOF), June 16–19, Reykjavik it was announced that the Icelandic government officially supports the Bone and Joint Decade. The declaration of support was signed by Mr Jón Kristjánsson, minister of health and social security.
