ActivitiesOn February 6, 2001 the representatives of all the Belgian societies involved in locomotor pathology convened in Brussels. It was decided that a press conference would be held in June, in the presence of Mrs Magda Aelvoet, minister of consumer tnterests, health and environment, Mr Frank Vandenbroucke, minister for social affairs and pensions and Mr Guy Verhovstadt, prime minister.
Professor René Verdonk and Minister for Social Affairs and Pensions Frank Vandenbroucke The Belgian chapter of the Bone and Joint Decade was endorsed by the government on June 1, 2002 during the 2002 Orthopaedica Belgica Congress which was held at the Oud St Jan Art and Congress Center in Bruges, Belgium. This event took place with a press conference and lunch. Mr Frank Vandenbroucke, minister for social affairs and pensions, as well as national and international press agencies attended the meeting.
