A National Action Network has been formed and they had their first Network meeting on February 16 - 18, 2001. Meeting venue: Theatrette, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore. Title: Imaging of Arthropathies, Incorporating the 3rd Annual Scientific Meeting of the Asian Musculoskeletal Society and 10th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Singapore Radiological Society. They had an attendance of 240 persons, mainly from the East Asian and South-east Asian region. Countries represented included Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Russia, South Africa, Canada and USA.
